September 7, 2011: 3007 HPTs Later

Three days late now.

In theory, you're supposed to use your first morning urine to test for pregnancy because it had the highest concentration of the pregnancy hormones. So I took another home pregnancy test this morning. The last digital one in the pack. I bit open the package for the test strip and thought "please let this read positive", but then I caught myself and put an asterisk on that: "Please let this read positive. * if it is MEANT to be positive. Let this read positive if it will be a positive result. If I will carry this baby to term, let it tell me I'm pregnant. Don't let it tell me I am going to have a baby in the Spring if I am going to lose that joy in a few weeks. If it will be right, let it be right...".

It was negative.

Two hours later, I got my period.
